The floating Dock can accommodate a yacht up to 40' in length. It is situated in the perfect location, well protected from the wind and waves of the bay beyond. White caps and gusty winds may be battering the boats and docks on the bay, but the boat at this dock will be barely rocking. This is a boater's paradise; easy access to the Mobjack Bay and Chesapeake Bay beyond and a safe haven in which to return.

The Driveway has been planted with tens of thousands of daffodil bulbs. The blooms in spring are amazing.

Closer to the house, the Driveway is lined by magestic Yellow Pine and Cedar trees.
The driveway culminates at a Lily Pool surrounded by Lavender and Rosemary. The water circulates through a filter to keep it clear and fresh for the goldfish. A small fountain quietly splashes in the middle.
The Entry Hall is over 40' long with doors on either end to allow ample fresh air to flow through the house. A french mural presides over the hallway.
Guests enter the formal Livingroom from the main hall. It features sunny bay windows and a new, efficient gas fireplace. Built-in book shelves and cupboards line one wall.
Just steps off the livingroom is the Wet Bar in the Solarium. It's a wonderful spot to entertain guests as well as sit quietly and read. The bar has a small refrigerator as well as an ice maker, plenty of open and enclosed glass storage.

The front Parlor or Library is a comfortable place to be. One wall is devoted to bookshelves and cupboards.
The formal Dining Room can be entered through the front hall as well as the kitchen. An elegant crystal chandelier hangs over the table. And a wood burning fireplace makes the room cozy and inviting.
The Kitchen is the hub of the house, spacius and bright. It offers ample cupboard storage and open shelves too to display your favorite things. It has space for a table and chairs as well as a sitting area in front of the gas fireplace. It has a new Thermador gas five burner cooktop, a convection/conventional oven and a built-in microwave. The kitchen opens directly to the Family Room.

Directly off the kitchen is the new Family Room, added in 2006. It's a great room for lounging or entertaining. It has a rustic brick floor and windows that open to the water view. A new, super efficient gas fireplace, regulated by a thermostat, easily keeps the space cozy during the winter months. The french doors at the far end open to the pool and gardens.
At the top of the stairs on both the second and third floors are spaces for Offices or sitting rooms. The windows are large and the views are spectacular. It's a treat to sit and watch the otters and herons catching their meals in the creek. Being stuck on the phone on "hold" with any company is relatively painless with a view like this to absorb while waiting.

Bay windows permit light to flood into the Master Bedroom. The bedroom, dressing room and bathroom together run the full length of the house, allowing views on three sides of the structure, from enrty to water. The bedroom has a lovely mantle over a closed fireplace. It is supplied by a gas line and may be opened for use if desired. It is an attractive feature with or without the fire. The master bath has double sinks, whirlpool tub and a separate shower stall/steam bath.
Sitting on the Porch facing the water is an ideal place to relax or entertain. It runs the width of the house and the kitchen, front hall, and wet bar/living room all open on to it.

Rainbow over the water. The view over the water is always changing and always beautiful.

The gazebo sits between the formal garden and the clay tennis court. There is electricity and running water available in it. Narcissus, Lilacs, Japanese Maple and Ballerina Roses are in the foreground.

There are acres of fenced pastures surrounding the house and outbuildings.
